From Fear To Fierce: Sharing Experiences At The Biden Cancer Summit

Receiving a Cancer diagnosis is tough. It can bring up so many emotions at once, including fear. It’s also a time to get as much information as possible and prepare for a winning battle–It’s a time to go from fear to fierce.

The Still Strong Foundation’s Founder and CEO, Devon Still, was honored to be invited to speak at the recent Biden Cancer Summit on September 21st in Washington, DC. The Summit was sponsored by the Biden Cancer Initiative whose mission is to develop and drive implementation of solutions to accelerate progress against cancer was created by Vice President Joe Biden and Dr. Jill Biden.

The purpose of the summit was to focus global attention on the journey of cancer patients, their families, caregivers, health care professionals, and others who are in this fight every day and to turn the fear that comes with a cancer diagnosis into FIERCE – that strength, resilience, purpose, and hope that we know is in everyone touched by cancer.

Devon was part of the panel, “From Fear to Fierce”. Other participants were:

  • Stephanie McMahon, Connor’s Cure and WWE
