How we help
WE HOPE THAT WE CAN HELP YOUR FAMILY THROUGH THIS DIFFICULT TIME
If your child is receiving treatment at one of these hospitals, please work closely with your social worker to apply for a grant. We can only consider applications submitted through social workers, who will confidentially share your child’s medical condition and specific financial needs (e.g. copies of bills) through the foundation’s application process. They will also help us prioritize each grant award.
We will review applications as soon as possible – normally within two weeks. Our trusted advisors will oversee and approve payments. Decisions will be sent to the social workers who will contact the families.
The foundation’s advisors will designate each hospital’s yearly funding amount, based on achieved fundraising goals. We will send each hospital a monthly report and the remaining funds each year. The Still Strong Foundation will help as many families as possible!
Financial assistance will vary, based on circumstances, financial need, and available funding. Eligible expenses will include but are not limited to:
- Rent
- Mortgage
- Utilities
- Bills
- Childcare
- Travel expenses to and from the hospital
As our foundation grows, we hope to expand our assistance to hospitals throughout the country.
The Still Strong Foundation currently supports families with children being treated at the following hospitals:

- Nemours/Alfred I. DuPont Hospital for Children, Wilmington, DE
- St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, Philadelphia, PA
- Texas Children’s Hospital, Houston, TX
- Penn State Children’s Hospital at Hershey
- Geisinger Medical Center
